The Piece with the String

The Piece with the String was my first solo choreography it is a dual meaning work looking simultaneously at the presentation of a specifically feminine self as well as the effects of the society that self is raised within. It also looks at the fetishization of the female presenting body versus how it is perceived when a woman is sex positive. The work also explores my views of the current UK political landscape through the lens of mockery and pop culture
