Our Glass

Our Glass is a twenty minute duet choreographed by Aeryn Waddington looking at the theme of time.

Within this piece the two dancers represent the hands of a clock with the taller dancer moving faster than the other to imitate the minute hand. We explored many different types of time within this piece both choreographically, such as psychological time and real time, as well as visual such as looking at ticking, circles and the sand inside an  hour glass. This piece ends with sand falling from the ceiling creating a perfect circle, encasing one dancer, only for it to then be danced on leaving marks across this sand to show the effect that people have on how a timeline plays out.
