Distorted Illusions

Distorted Illusions was a interdisciplinary routine choreographed collectively by the performers involving a fifth dancing element in the shape of the large stage wide sheet.

The inspiration behind this work was to be experimental both in movement but also in the staging type. Working with the sheet was my first interdisciplinary experience and was the starting point for the way I intend to specialise myself in the future. Our choreographic effort was put into finding all the different ways that the sheet could be used which ranged from it forming a ceiling, to a wave and to a dress. All of which combined to make a final explorative piece.
